Who is entitled to free and reduced tickets in the Alhambra?

The Alhambra offers free and reduced tickets to several categories. Children up to 11 years of age are entitled to free entry, and children from 12 to 15, seniors over 65 and people with a disability over 33% are entitled to a reduced price.

Free and reduced tickets to the Alhambra

Free entry

Free entry to the Alhambra is only granted to children from 0 to 11 years of age. However, there is a difference in how to book the free tickets:

  • Children 0-2 years: the tickets will be provided directly at the ticket booths on the day of the visit
  • Children 3-11 years: the tickets can be booked online, along the ones for the adults

Reduced entry

Reduced entry is granted to different categories of visitors, based on the age or whether or not the visitor has a disability:

  • Children 12-15 years
  • Seniors 65+ years
  • People with a disability over 33%
  • European Youth Card holders
