Entrance

There are two entrances to the Alhambra, one for groups and one for regular visitors, but they are very close to each other and are very well indicated. Please be aware that the Alhambra is on top of a hill, so it is recommended to use the official parking near the entrance. If you want to walk there, there are two options: a steeper but shorter road from the north, and a longer but easier road from the south.

Food

Inside the Alhambra, you’ll find a café and small kiosks for quick snacks and drinks. For a proper meal, head just outside to Plaza Nueva or the Albaicín, where tapas bars and restaurants serve local dishes and regional wines.

Services

There are several parking areas near the Alhambra, as well as resting spaces inside. The site also offers vending machines for small snacks and drinks and accessible bathrooms, as well as baby changing facilities.

The Alhambra sits in the heart of Granada, surrounded by a wealth of nearby attractions you won’t want to miss.

Just downhill lies the historic Albaicín neighborhood, with its winding Moorish streets and breathtaking views from the Mirador de San Nicolás.

A short walk brings you to Granada Cathedral and the Royal Chapel, where the Catholic Monarchs are buried.

For a taste of local life, wander through the bustling Alcaicería market or relax in the Arab baths.

Beyond the city, you can explore the Sacromonte caves, famous for flamenco shows, or venture into the Sierra Nevada mountains for hiking and skiing.
